A close-up of part of the design |
In an art nouveau style, the pansies are arranged around a panel that looks like a card on a cream or white background, with a formal script typeface in matching colours. The flowers are beautifully shaded with creamy white, blue, mulberry, plum and violet blue with green stems and leaves, and shadows over the panel.
The illustrations were copied from a lovely vintage book called "Through Woodland and Meadow", which has been my source for several other designs.
This design is available on invitations, RSVP cards, and a large selection of stationery and anniversary gifts including plates, cushions and pillows, clocks and tiles, all personalised with the names of the bride and groom. The collection link is shown on the right.
Another popular design is this pretty corner arrangement of forget-me-nots, by the same artist, also available on a variety of gifts and invitations. I also made this into a kaleidoscope pattern which makes an elegant tie for the groom, as well as a smart co-ordinating tablecloth to match the napkins and serviettes. For those on a lower budget or for a smaller party, I've included paper plates and serviettes in the collection as well as commemorative porcelain plates which are ideal as a wedding gift.
